  • Mutual Understanding Agreement: All rider participant at their own risk; each rider participating automatically agrees to these terms.  We claim no expectation and no responsibility, we simply believe riding in numbers is safer and traveling established routes reduces confusion.
  • Release of Liability Form: Please cut-n-paste this document at http://www.gocycler.com/rides/release_of_liability.htm in to a new email message and please fill in the appropriate blanks, then email this form to nniino@Hanahou.Net.  The following will serve as my liability release form and emergency contact form.   Note: will not release any of your personal information to anyo ne  except for what is specified in the document.
  • Riding Guidelines: It is our intention never to place any participant in to harms-way however, unforeseen circumstances may alter the ride route or force ride cancellation of the schedule bike  ride.  We would much rather cancel a ride than to see anyone injured.
  • Safe Riding Conditions: Road: The roads must be safe for bike riding and free of any menacing debris however, unforeseen road conditions may force alteration of the scheduled ride route to  insure the safety of all riders.
  • Weather: The roads must be "drying-out" and appear it will "dry-out" shortly after the start of the bike ride and no immediate or continuing threat of excessive weather [rain, wind, wind gust, poor day lighting conditions (long days, short days--no lights) impending storm or other] is expected for the remainder of the group ride.
  • Final Posting: Due to unexpected weather or road conditions changes and for the safety for the ride group, I strongly suggest you check our ride schedule on or after Saturday 6:00pm for our final posting.  The Saturday 6:00pm posting prior to Sunday's ride will our final posting which remains subject the "Safe Riding Condition" as mention above.

  • Meeting Location: Kahala Community Park adjacent Kahala Elementary School, see map.
  • Organizer/ Lead-out Rider: Neil Niino, nniino@hanahou.net.
  • Destination: Hawaii Kai (or more).
  • Description: Kahala Elementary in to Hawaii Kai and perhaps beyond.  Several rest breaks and refreshments refills opportunities.
  • Ride Classification: Beginner.
  • Pace: At your own pace.
  • Terrain: Vary.
  • Regroup: Every 6mi.
  • Distance: 20 miles.
  • Return: 10:00 a.m.
  • Severe Weather Cancel: Continuous rain, heavy or thunder showers.  Light rain or early morning rain will not cancel ride.
  • Suggestions: Bring at least (2) water bottles, (2) inner tubes, and a few dollars.
  • Minimum Requirements: A USCF approved helmet (or better) is required for application on each rider on all of our group rides.  Sorry, there can be no exceptions to this safety rule.  If you have any question's feel free to contact me at nniino@hanahou.net.
  • Notation: This site may post any last minute changes or ride cancellation due to rain or any other condition.
